Abstract

This investigation is focused around the possibilities of VR improving a persons’ memory retention. Throughout this investigation we have looked to prove or disprove our hypothesis that VR can provide a benefit to a persons’ memory retention over using a traditional PC monitor. This investigation covers existing VR technologies and other ways in which VR has been used in an educational setting along with our own investigation which tested users’ memory retention through both a VR headset and on a PC monitor.
